Para (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Para mobile application (the “App”).
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
We design Para to collect as little personal data as possible.

1. Information You Create in the App
Para stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Words and flashcards you create
  • Learning lists and progress
  • User-generated content
  • App preferences and settings

We do not provide user accounts, and we do not store this data on our servers.

2. AI Features
Para includes optional AI-powered features.
When you use AI generation:

  • Your request (for example, word generation prompts) is sent to a third-party AI provider
  • This data is processed only to generate a response
  • We do not store AI prompts or results on our servers

AI services are provided by:

  • Google Gemini

Use of AI features is subject to the provider’s own privacy policies.

3. Payments and Subscriptions
Subscriptions and payments are handled by Apple via in-app purchases.
We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status.
We do not have access to:

  • Your credit card details
  • Apple ID credentials
  • Billing information

RevenueCat may process anonymous purchase-related data according to its privacy policy.

4. Automatically Collected Technical Data
We may receive limited technical information such as:

  • App version
  • Device type
  • Operating system version
  • Crash diagnostics

This information is used only to:

  • Improve app stability
  • Fix bugs
  • Maintain performance

We do not use tracking for advertising or profiling.

5. Data Storage
All user-created learning content is stored:

  • Locally on your device

Deleting the App will delete locally stored data.
6. Third-Party Services
Para may use the following third-party services:

  • Apple (payments, app distribution)
  • RevenueCat (subscription infrastructure)
  • Google Gemini (AI generation)

These services operate under their own privacy policies.

7. Children’s Privacy
Para is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Your Rights
Since Para does not store personal user accounts or personal data on its servers, most data control is handled directly on your device.
You can:

  • Delete your data by deleting content inside the App
  • Delete all data by removing the App

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Updated versions will be published on our website.
